These beautiful pieces are constructed of a unique combination of durable Southern Cypress and acrylic stain with a sanded weathered look creating an ageless country cottage look. Choose from a variety of acrylic color stains to suit your mood or outdoor decor. Southern Cypress contains an oil called cypressene a natural preservative that prevents rot and decay. Unlike pine Southern Cypress resists cracking and splitting. These pieces are finished with a Cuprinol water-based acrylic deck-and-rail stain that further enhances the ability of the wood to resist cracking and splitting. This finish will not crack peel or rub off onto your clothing and the stainless steel hardware won't rust. This product is shipped partially assembled; all necessary fasteners and easy-to-follow instructions are included. Ensemble shown above in sage.
